English — say it out loud, and get corrected

English forgives a lot, which is exactly why textbook sentences survive so long uncorrected.

idontspeak gives you a partner who answers in this language, asks you something back, and quietly fixes what you got wrong. The explanation is written in your own language; the conversation stays in the one you are learning.

Corrections you can expect

What learners say
I can't speak English.
What people say
I don't speak English.
“Can't” claims you are unable to. The plain present just states a fact about you — that is what people actually say.
What learners say
I want to drink a coffee.
What people say
I'd like a coffee, please.
“I want” sounds blunt when you order. “I'd like …, please” is the everyday polite form.
What learners say
My hand phone is broken.
What people say
My phone is broken.
“Hand phone” exists in Korean English only. Say “phone”, or “mobile” in the UK.
What learners say
Yesterday I meet my friend.
What people say
Yesterday I met my friend.
Many languages mark the past once, in the time word. English marks it again on the verb.
What learners say
I'm boring.
What people say
I'm bored.
“-ing” describes the thing you are talking about. “-ed” describes how you feel about it.
